When choosing a birdhouse that you want to function as a nesting home for birds it is important to:

• determinie what bird you want to attract to your backyard

• Have plenty of food and water also


• Make sure you have its opening away for winds and a relatively sunny area


• Remain patient.  Even with the correct location, water, food, the right entrance hole and dimensions it could take some time before a pair of nesting birds make your birdhouse their home
